One-On-One Expert Sessions
A unique opportunity to meet experts from the various backgrounds of the pop industry in a personal conversation. In these one-on-one sessions Avant Première participants share one desk with professionals in pop. Discuss potential and perspective of your idea, get profound answers to your individual questions and profit from feedback and evaluation that counts.
The sessions explicitely address young professionals or students of educational insitutions with focus on music or film and in search of expert's advice. Each session is limited to 10min speaking time.

Niklas Arens
Sales & Marketing Manager, C Major Entertainment
C Major Entertainment markets more than 2,000 audio-visual music programmes around the world in every conceivable media. The company cooperates with more than 30 production companies and music labels and covers diverse genres from ballet to metal, from opera to pop – including music based docs (“Summer of Love”) and high quality pop concerts (Baloise Session, Hurricane Festival, Wacken Open Air). Niklas Arens studied Classical Music & Music Business Management and previously worked in various positions in the music industry – EuroArts (Sales & Marketing), Arthaus Musik (Label Manager & Acquisition) and an independent music distribution company (Business Development & Sales).
Martin Brem
Head of Music Portfolio, Red Bull Media House GmbH
Brem was Managing Director at Columbia Records & Sony Classical Germany, as well as Vicepresident of International Marketing at Sony Music Europe. He also filled other positions, such as A&R Manager for a Philip Morris diversification business, and Marketing Director at Phonogram/Mercury Records. After a successful career as a music industry executive, the 55 year old Austrian now runs the Red Bull Media House Music Portfolio with offices in Salzburg and Los Angeles, building a global catalogue of music rights for the media company.
Christian Goebel
Label Manager, Motor Entertainment GmbH
Breaking and promoting artist through a strong focus on audiovisual content in all shapes and lengths, from viral webisodes to full length concert movies, adding music videos to their revenue portfolio, as well as curating the Live Music TV Show 'Berllin Live'. Göbel was born in 1984, graduated (BA, M.Sc) in Philosophy & Economics ans currently lives in Berlin via stops in Bayreuth and Paris. He is Label Manager for Motor Entertainment and Lecturer at Pop Akademie Mannheim as well as at the University of the Arts Berlin.
Dieter Schneider
Commissioning Editor & Head of Theatre, Pop, Event ZDF/ARTE, ZDF – Zweites Deutsches Fernsehen
As Head of Department Pop&Event at ZDF/Arte, Schneider is responsible for pop-documentaries, concert and festival recordings (Online & TV-Concerts of Hurricane, Wacken, Melt!, Splash!) & many other musical formats; also jointly responsible for the pop culture emphasized series "Summer of..." and redesigning TRACKS as a cross-medial magazine. Dieter Schneider studied History, Theatre & Film in Bonn & Mainz. He has gained experience as a director's assistant for theatres in Bonn & Hamburg and as a freelance filmmaker for ZDF, 3sat & Arte. Schneider is Commissioning Editor for ZDF/Arte and since 2012 Head of Department Theatre, Pop, Event/Arte at ZDF.
Andrew Winter

Award winning producer of music documentary film (International Emmy Award and Rose D’Or Winner Freddie Mercury - The Great Pretender, The Rolling Stones – Crossfire Hurricane, Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here, Genesis – Sum Of The Parts and The Story Of The Who’s Tommy) with 20 years of production and distribution experience. Previously worked for Warner Music and an independent music distribution company.
Jan Younghusband
IMZ Vice-President - Head of Commissioning, Music & Events TV (In-house independent production), BBC Music
Commissioning docs & acquiring concerts for BBC since 2009, she also delivers the pan-BBC music strategy alongside Director of Music Bob Shennan. Prior to this, Jan was Head of Arts & Performance at Channel Four (Bafta Best Film 2009 "Hunger", Oscar Winner 2009 "Peter and the Wolf"). Also a producer & writer (Emmy winner "Concerto!").
