EBU-IMZ International Coproduction Panel
As a follow-up to the EBU-IMZ Coproduction Pitching Session in June 2016 in Vienna, this panel focuses on the status quo of the winner’s project ‘Soundtrack Europe’ by EuroArts Music International. Outlining the process of development since its first pitch, attendants of this panel observe EuroArts’ aim to acquire coproduction partners in this second round of presentation.
Designed as a case study the panel also addresses potential future participants of pitching sessions outlining the key facts on how to achieve best results in front of a jury. It also invites members of the audience to step up as coproduction partners for ‘Soundtrack Europe’ or to give their viewpoints and suggestions on the project. In moderating between the major broadcasting companies, the EBU and production companies, the panel outlines the general issues and challenges of international coproduction.
