SPECIAL PRESENTATION ‘VIENNA GREETS EUROPE: BAROQUE TREASURES – MUSICA SACRA’

PRESENTED BY ORF ENTERPRISE AND SCARLATTI ARTS INTERNATIONAL

The Bach Consort Wien under the artistic direction of Maestro Rubén Dubrovsky offers a wealth of superb seasonal concerts since 2014. The ensemble´s mission is to spread the message of unity through music and to celebrate the spirit of Easter. The concerts are globally broadcast, thus countless people from around the world have a chance to enjoy the virtuosity of brilliant musicians and admire the extraordinary beauty of sacred music.

The collaboration with highly regarded soloists like Andreas Scholl, Vivica Genaux or Michael Schade helps to build musical bridges, promoting solidarity among people and nations.

The concerts will take place annually, at a different European location each year, starting with Prague in 2019. To let everyone feel the unique charm and identity of the host city, the programme and the content of each Easter Concert will be exclusively designed and developed.
