Avant Première Talk ‘UAXUCTUM 360°’
PRESENTED BY LES FILMS DE LA BUTTE
Giacinto Scelsi composed his music in a state of mystical trance. With “Uaxuctum 360” the audience can experience this physical and mental state Scelsi himself would try to reach through music composition. Thanks to VR cameras set in the heart of the Radio France Choir and Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a very precise and innovative immersive work on sound led with Radio France and Arte’s Numeric Departments, the audience is invited to a digital and mystical journey at the heart of Scelsi’s personal “vision of sound”. This program offers an extended experience of Sebastiano d’Ayala Valva’s feature documentary, “Scelsi, the first motion of the immovable” (release scheduled in 2018).
This Avant Première Talk is held in the course of the Programme Focus "Innovation Day".
