Special Screening ‘Sound-Treck Europe’

PRESENTED BY EUROARTS MUSIC INTERNATIONAL

In search for musical answers to current socio-political questions, soul musician Joy Denalane embarks on a journey through Europe and discovers the world of folk music. The pilot episode takes place in Austria and explores the country’s musical tradition which has much more to offer than just alphorn, accordions and yodeling. Discovering Mahler’s roots in Austria, Joy gets lost to the world with a pure traditional music band in Tirol and Toblach, encounters young and wild folk musicians from FEDERSPIEL to ALMA and jams with the legend of Viennese Song ROLAND NEUWIRTH.
