Avant Première Talk ‘We Revolutionise Music Education’

Presented by Vienna Boys Choir

The NES Project (Neuromusic Education Simulator) is a unique research + development programme based on brain research. In cooperation with Universities in Zurich, Switzerland, Music + Performing Arts, Vienna, Austria, North Texas, USA, Athabasca and Canada, a collaboration proposal has been established under the umbrella of the Music pedagogy Foundation (MpF) of the Vienna Boys Choir in Switzerland.
Based on the wirth method with focus on constant interaction between teacher + students, the goal is to develop NES using Virtual + Augmented Reality built on scientific research to improve teaching in general.

This Avant Première Talk is held in the course of the Programme Focus "Innovation Day".

Gerald Wirth

Artistic Director + President at the Vienna Boys Choir

Prior to the Vienna Boys Choir, Wirth was Chorus Master at the Salzburg Opera House, later Artistic Director of the Calgary Boys’ Choir and Musical Director at the Calgary Civic Symphony. He has established a specific method of music pedagogy.
