Since joining NHK in 1995, Yasuko has established multi-camera directing skills for TV. She is currently in charge of international TV coproduction in classical music at the NHK Music + Theatre Programmes Division.

ORF III - Austrian National Broadcasting, AUSTRIA

PETER SCHÖBER

Programme Director at ORF III Culture and Information

Peter Schöber gained his first journalistic experience in the late 1980s at ORF Radio Upper Austria. He was a founding member of the Ars Electronica Center and a graduate of the CNN International Professional Programme. From 1998 onwards, he held various management positions within the ORF. Since 2010, he has been developing and subsequently managing the TV channel ORF III.

MATTHIAS KREMIN

Head of Culture + Science at WDR - Westdeutscher Rundfunk

After studying music, musicology and history of arts, Matthias started his career as freelance author and host for the broadcaster WDR, SFB and HR before becoming editorial staff leader at WDR. Since 2008 he has been Head of the Culture and Science Department, where he expanded the crossmedia and digital content.

JYRKI NOKKONEN

Acquisitions Executive of Music + Entertainment at Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Company

Since 1990 Jyrki Nokkonen has acquired music + dance programmes from classical to popular (performances + documentaries) for Yle’s three national TV channels TV1, TV2 and the cultural channel Yle Teema, as well as for Yle’s free online service Yle Areena.
