CINNOVATE
WHERE MUSIC, DANCE AND ART EXHIBITIONS MEET THE BIG SCREEN + VOD
Join the exclusive Avant Première presentation of CINNOVATE + explore how cultural content can be launched in cinemas across Europe in new and innovative ways.
As part of the EU-supported project CINNOVATE, we are building a cinema exhibitor-powered VOD platform for Event Cinema content, a continuously growing segment of the global cinema sector. Titles including the Royal Opera, Andre Rieu's Maastricht concerts as well as Korean K-Pop band BTS entertain and engage fans of the cinema experience around the World.
CINNOVATE encourages users to see new Event Cinema releases on the big screen, thereby bringing together the wrongly seperated Worlds of VOD and cinema exhibition. We are also experimenting with creative pre-show content and virtual audience discussions to complement theatrical releases and provide more value to cinema goers.
CINNOVATE will be launched this year in Sweden, Ireland and Slovenia and is already operating under the 'Kino on Demand' brand in Germany. The high-profile project partnership gathers four of Europe’s leading arthouse cinema networks – Folkets Hus och Parker, Folkets Bio (both from Sweden), Access Cinema (Ireland) and Art kino mreža Slovenije (Slovenia) – that together count 308 screens in three territories and will be coordinated by Cologne-based VOD and digital distribution experts Rushlake Media and independent consultant Jan Runge. Additional content and network partners are the Event Cinema Association (United Kingdom), Spielfabrique (Germany) and IMZ International Music + Media Centre (Austria).
