Avant Première 2025 gathered over 600 professionals from 330+ organisations and 40+ countries, including BBC, ARTE, Deutsche Grammophon, Unitel, the EBU, The WNET Group, and NHK for 4 days of screenings, conference and networking.
Highlights included Peter Gelb’s keynote, a documentary pitching session awarding Sounds of Religion and Maestro Notes, and special screenings like Gustavia + The Black Prince. Panels explored public service media, youth engagement, VR, AI, and sustainable production. Notable participants included Peter Sellars, Markus Hinterhäuser, Nazanin Aghakhani, and Anastasia Kobekina.
