For the first time, Avant Première will take place at MuseumsQuartier Wien, one of the world’s largest arts and culture complexes. Covering 114,310 square metres and bringing together 61 cultural institutions, the MuseumsQuartier attracts more than five million visitors each year. Its mix of museums, exhibition and event spaces, restaurants and public art makes it a well-established meeting point for Vienna’s cultural scene. Historic buildings sit alongside contemporary architecture, while the complex’s international programme reflects the diversity of the city’s arts and cultural landscape.
Getting There
The MuseumsQuartier Wien is easily accessible by public transport. The U-Bahn stations Volkstheater (U2, U3) and Museumsquartier (U2) are just a short walk away. Tram 49 stops directly at Volkstheater, while several tram lines serving the Ring stop nearby, including D, 1, 2, 71 and 46.
