SOCIAL MOVERS AWARD
The Social Movers Award is a new award category in the dancescreen film competition with special focus on social issues. The category welcomes film submissions like specific examinations of socially critical issues or the structural involvement of different social groups and communities in the process of dance film production.
The Social Movers Award recognises the cinematic explorations of a multi-layered society that demands other forms of social participation and in which dance - in all its possibilities - is understood as an expression of life in its diversity.
