IMZ EBU Panel: "Shaping the future of dance on TV"
Friday, 24 June, 13:30-15:00, EYE Room at the Top, Amsterdam
In recent years, dance productions have increasingly disappeared from the programs of public broadcasters across Europe, even though the enthusiasm for dance continues to inspire a wide audience.
This panel will therefore explore how dance can reclaim a greater role on television. Which forms of dance can best address and reach a broad cross-section of the audience? How can dance be reintegrated in a new and exciting way, what can be learned from streaming platforms and which role should live broadcasts of dance performances play in an on-demand world? Free entry, no signup required.
