DIGITAL CROSS OVER
Promoting cross sector innovation across Europe
Digital Cross Over is a cross-sector project between the content + creative industries
led by the IMZ and co-funded by the European Commission through the EACEA – Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency.
The project aimed at bridging culture + audiovisual content through digital technologies, as well as exploring new approaches
in the use of innovative technologies to facilitate access, monetisation, distribution and promotion of Europe’s cultural heritage.
Digital Cross Over was led by a consortium of representatives for different sectors consisting of the
IMZ International Music + Media Centre (AT), Ars Electronica (AT), Börsenvereinsgruppe (DE), Centrica (IT) and Izneo (FR).Moreover, a network of practitioners was built in order to carry on with these goals for the duration of the project and beyond.
From the findings of the Digitla Crossover Project we were able to develop a succession project:

is now aiming to achieve crossectoral+cultural collaboration.
