International Emmy^® Awards
Semi-Final Round of Judgings in Vienna

Due to our commitment of fostering excellence in quality TV programming, the IMZ got involved with the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in the year 2002 to organise the International Emmy® Awards Semi-Final Round of Judgings in Vienna/Austria every June.

Hosted by the ORF Enterprise, the IMZ and one additional varying partner, the Semi-Final Round of Judgings evaluates productions from three categories, with top television professionals (producers, directors, editors, buyers, distributors, etc) from all the world serving as jurors. The IMZ contributes its expertise and international network to gather an expert jury for the category “Arts Programming”. The winners are announced at the International Emmy Awards Gala in November in New York.

After a full day of screenings and judgings, the day ends in a glamourous and elegant Cocktail Prolongé. Gathering more than 280 senior industry figures, this exclusive networking event provided opportunities to increase connectivity and foster future collaborations in the international film industry.
