In a multi-platform environment getting your social media strategy right can be a challenge, particularly when your potential audience will be using several different platforms to access content. This session will share experience and learnings from four leaders in the field, all with very different personal and institutional needs and objectives.
The roundtable discussion will be moderated by IMZ Academy Director Peter Maniura, who will also share insights on social media campaigns from his time at the BBC, and will feature the following experts:

PETER MANIURA
Freelance Director + Digital Strategist, IMZ Academy Director (United Kingdom)
Peter Maniura is an award-winning TV producer and director with over twenty-five years’ experience in music + arts broadcasting at the BBC and EBU. He is also a digital media consultant and guest lecturer. Most recently, he served as Project Director for BBC Music, opening the BBC’s classical archive to the public, and previously led digital development for BBC Arts, launching initiatives including BBC Arts Online and the experimental online arts service “The Space,” fostering innovation and creativity across the arts.
Lia Navarrete
Social Media Manager and Editor, Musiq3 - RTBF (Belgium)
Lia Navarrete began her career in classical music communications in 2019 at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel as a social media expert and content producer. In January 2023, she joined Musiq3 - RTBF as a communication specialist. She now collaborates with Belgium's leading cultural institutions, including La Monnaie and Bozar, and has worked with renowned artists like Julia Fischer and TwoSet Violin. Lia recently co-directed her first documentary, Bovary, and remains dedicated to using compelling digital communication to connect both new and long-time enthusiasts with classical music.
Yury Revich
Violinist/Composer/Interdisciplinary Creator (Austria)
Yury Revich is an Austrian Stradivari violinist, composer, and interdisciplinary creator, internationally recognised for his distinctive artistry, innovation, and depth. Winner of the ECHO Klassik Award and the International Classical Music Award, his 2021 recording of Saint-Georges’ concertos entered the US Billboard Top 100 Classical Chart. He has performed at leading venues such as Carnegie Hall, Vienna Musikverein, La Scala Milan, and Berlin Philharmonie, appeared with orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and Zagreb Soloists, and worked with leading art institutions such as Art Basel and Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac. Yury also serves as UNICEF Austria Honorary Representative.
Victoria Tafferner
Head of Social Media, Berlin Phil Media (Germany)
Victoria Tafferner is a digital strategist and cultural manager with extensive experience in classical music communication, storytelling, and audience engagement. As Head of Social Media at Berlin Phil Media, she shapes the global voice of the Berliner Philharmoniker’s Digital Concert Hall. A former professional horn player, she draws on her artistic and strategic expertise to integrate digital storytelling into orchestral engagement. Victoria previously held senior roles at Mecklenburgische Staatskapelle Schwerin and Brandenburger Symphoniker, strengthening institutional visibility and audience participation worldwide.
