Peter Maniura
Filmmaker, Multi-Camera Director, Producer + IMZ Academy Director
Peter is an award-winning TV producer and director with over 25 years’ experience in music and arts broadcasting, formerly with the BBC and the EBU. At the BBC, he led major digital initiatives, including the Classical Archive and Orchestras Digital Strategy, opening up the BBC’s music archive to new audiences. He was also Head of Digital Development for BBC Arts and launched BBC Arts Online. As Creative Director of ‘The Space’, he championed digital innovation in the arts. He is also a consultant and guest lecturer.
Rhodri Huw
Director of Music, Opera, Dance + large-scale Events for Television and Cinema
Rhodri Huw specialises in directing music, theatre, opera, dance and large-scale events for the screen. For the Royal Opera House’s he has directed several productions for cinema including La Traviata starring Renee Fleming, The Tales of Hoffmann with Juan Diego Florez, L’elisir d’amore with Bryn Terfel and Nadine Sierra and Nabucco with Placido Domingo. For English National Opera he has directed performances of Mozart’s Requiem and Yeoman of the Guard; and for Glyndebourne he has directed La Bohème and The Merry Widow, starring Danielle de Niese.
Yvonne Craven
Script Supervisor, Production Manager + Lecturer
Yvonne Craven is an experienced script supervisor and tutor, originally trained by the BBC in film continuity and television studio production. She has worked across music, opera and live events, including cinema transmissions from the Royal Opera House and English National Opera, as well as productions worldwide. Her credits range from Operalia in Mexico City to performances in Muscat, Monaco and Riga. She worked on the BBC Proms for forty years. A dedicated educator, she teaches at the National Film & Television School and has led international training for IMZ Academy and broadcasters across Europe.
