Visions for New Audiences

In today’s fast-paced digital world, new content formats and platforms emerge constantly, reshaping how people connect and consume media. Apps like Instagram and TikTok dominate the attention of younger audiences, offering an opportunity—and a challenge—for Classical Music to meet them where they are. But how do you capture their fleeting attention in these short-form, visually driven spaces?
This panel brings together content creators, producers, artists, and passionate advocates of Classical Music to explore how the art form can thrive on these platforms. They will discuss the unique considerations of producing, and the evolving relationship between performers and the camera.
Key questions include: What are the rules of engagement for these platforms? And how do we communicate the timeless relevance of classical music to audiences who might view it as outdated?
