Bruno de Sà, Sopranist
Bruno de Sà is a nonconformist: nothing in his social background predestined him to a career as a soprano. Through his bold musical choices, he expresses his individuality and plays with conventions. The singer takes us on a journey to planet Mozart, alternating between vocal performance amidst the ruins of Gliwice Victoria Theatre, and behind-the-scenes explanations. Accompanied by the Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra conducted by Jarolaw Thiel, he once again question the place of classical music.
Wunderkammer, Marcos Morau
In his latest creation for the Staatsballett Berlin, Marcos Morau evokes familiar places with his unmistakable stage worlds, while simultaneously transforming them into dreamlike, surreal realms. "Wunderkammer" refers to the historical and strange cabinets of curiosities: in a 1920s Berlin Cabaret scene, Morau envisions the stage as a chamber full of surprises and unexpected perspectives, to explore the concept of inner strangeness. Wunderkammer thus becomes an emotional mirror of our times.
