Special Presentation

A Seatbelt Moment for Arts and Culture

17 February 2026, 15:00 – 15:15 Screening Hall 1

Arts & Culture don't just entertain – they heal, connect, and transform. Around the world, new research and initiatives show how arts engagement improves mental health, resilience, and social cohesion. For the media sector, this opens up fresh opportunities: telling stories that matter, reaching audiences in new ways, and redefining cultural relevance in a time of fragmentation.

Jennifer Davison and Bea Robein, co-founders of ArtWave, are opera professionals and international Arts and Health practitioners. They create and lead a WHO-endorsed Long COVID rehabilitation program, developed an app for arts-based stress reduction and emotional intelligence, and collaborate on research and workshops globally.
